Also, please could you publicise this to your clients, friends, neighbours etc .

Will Squash Seconds make it?

A hard fought but disappointing loss to Bollington 2 last night - going down 17-10. Many thanks to all those who came along to cheer us on in our promotion battle. Automatic promotion was not assured last night - however - there is still a glimmer of hope. Well, a little more than a glimmer actually!
Here's the situation:
1   Knutsford Sports 2   24 18 6 0 290 154   391
2   Club AZ1   23 20 3 0 288 109   388

3   Bollington 2   23 18 5 0 301 126   372
4   Radbroke Hall 1   23 18 5 0 281 136   371

- Club AZ will win the league
- Radbroke can only beat us if they win all matches next week v Sandbach 1 - unlikely
- Bollington can only beat us if they score 19 points next week v Crewe 4 - possible but a tough ask - more so as Bolly's impressive no.1 is missing!
So, all in all, we're still in the mix! :-)

SciBar Monday April 3rd - Drugs to combat ageing

Dr. Joao Pedro de Magalhaes, Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease, University of Liverpool.

Hundreds of genes are now known to regulate ageing and have been shown to increase longevity by up to 10 fold in animal models. Drugs mimicking the longevity effects of these genes are now being developed. Studies of species with exceptional longevity (like bowhead whales) or disease resistance (like naked mole rats) may help to improve human health and prevent diseases.

This talk was first presented to Kirkby SciBar on 16th August, 2016 and the above information is courtesy their flyer.
