Match:  Knutsford 4 Away to Prestbury 5

1st games on were Dave Bentley and Guy (not angry any more). Dave played well against the large and youthful Tom but made mistakes at the critical times and did not finish him off when the opportunities arose. Guy faced the ever youthful pensioner Barry Edwards and was quickly dispatched in the first two, rallied a bit in the third but lost out 0 -3. I fought a close battle with the super quick Gareth and despite having the advantage on a couple of occasions he made the killer shot on the crucial points. Over on the other court Nick was on the verge of his 1st win of the season only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the 5th. Finally Gwyn against another fit pensioner, battled well in the 1st two but  faded in the 3rd with a number of his"tin" shots returning to his game. A good evening with the food and hospitality as good as usual.
