Capt for the night Jacko was first up against the wily Colin Jump. Having lost to his son 3-2 two weeks ago , was a repeat on the cards . Well it looked a certainty as Colin Jumped into a 2-0 lead before Jacko took heed of Snapey's stern words , and the fightback was on , taking the next 3 games for what would be a long night !!

Tony on next at 3 against Jump the younger and classy shots soon had Tony 2-0 up . Another fightback began , Chris took the next 10-8 and then it was 2-2 with Tony looking exhausted after some great rallies . But was our man gonna give in ….. ner , 9-6 to Tony in the fifth , fabulous effort ( matched by his effort to finish all the beef casserole later ! ).

Could the Vet seal the win next at no.4 against a more slimlineJohnCrouch ? Ian blasted to 2-0 , hiccupped in the next , then closed out victory with a 9-0 ! , Match in the bag , Hip op success .

So to Snapey at 1 wearing multiple knee bandages against the very fit Tony . Great rallies 9-10 / 8-10 , but not Rogers way and despite a super effort the first reverse of the evening 3-0 .It's still tough at 1 in this division .

As the time clicked by , Smithy strode on to court to finish the proceedings against Khaled . However the hard hitter was a misser and soon 2-0 down , but not out , not when you are a forging fourth !!. Full power resumed and his opponent was battered into submission with Dave taking the next three to build our points total .

A fine victory 17 points to 10 , and a rush into the kitchen to stop our seconds and thirds stealing our food as they had long finished . Great matches , well done
